Gut Healing Jelly Bites

These Yummy jellies will do more than just make your taste buds happy 🙂

You will need:
-Good Quality Australian Grass Fed Natural Gelatin (powder)- I use nutra organics (and no, they don’t pay me to say that)
-Good Quality Australian Collagen (powder) again I use nutra organics
-1 and 1/2 cups of frozen organic mixed berries (or fruit of your choice)
-1/2 cup of almond or coconut mylk (I actually just really like making it with water)
-1 tbs of sweetener like raw honey or maple syrup (optional)

Bloom the gelatin by following the instructions on your packet or by adding 3 tbs of powder to 1/3 cup of water and stirring until dissolved, set aside for 5 minutes as it expands and becomes a little rubbery

heat the fruit in a saucepan until it is simmering, take off the heat and stir in 2-3 tbs collagen powder, your mylk and sweetener if using.

using a stick blender blitz the fruit and add the gelatin blend it all together.

Pour it into ice cube trays or into a dish (I usually use a lunchbox or pyrex dish because you can put the lid on once cooled)
Place it into the fridge until it sets (about an hour)

Pop out of the ice cube trays or cut into small squares and enjoy. Cover and put back in fridge for a week.

Have one every morning to get your health back on track or have one at night for better sleep.

NB. I have also used herbal tea instead of fruit and omitted the mylk
