Seeded Crackers
These crackers are a hit everywhere I take them, I get asked for the recipe every time. They are delicious and can be adapted to your taste. They’re cost effective and gluten free. Did you know that seeds can be great for hormones, so if you’re a woman, adding these to your diet can be a big bonus.
40ml Olive Oil
1/2 cup flax seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/3 cup tapioca flour
200ml boiling water
1 tsp sea salt or iodised salt
Preheat oven to 140/150 degrees and prepare two baking trays by lining with baking paper
Mix all seeds, oil and flour together in a bowl
Pour over boiling water, mix and let stand for 10 minutes
Place half the mix on each baking tray and spread out with a spatula or place another piece of baking paper on top and roll out until evenly spread approx one seed thickness and without any gaps
Bake in oven for 45-60 minutes, until brown and your desired crispness
cut and enjoy
NB> You can substitute any of the seeds for chia seeds or a dried fruit of your choice like Goji Berries.
