Is it time for a detox?

Is it time for a detox?

Are you suffering from any of the following sypmtoms?

If you are then it might be time for a detox.

>>bloating / fluid retention / puffiness
>>abdominal pain
>>weight gain
>>fatigue
>>brain fog
>>excessive gas
>>diarrhoea
>>acne
>>constipation
>>trouble sleeping
>>skin irritations
>>waking during the night at the same time each night
>>unwarranted or irrational emotions

Things that you eat can stay in your digestive tract and cause inflammation and an overgrowth of “bad” bacteria. This can cause one or many of the above symptoms.

I wasn’t always this healthy, too much sugar, caffeine and carbohydrates had me in a big mess. I had stomach pains that would keep me on the couch, acne, my emotions were out of control and I felt like I couldn’t lift my mood no matter what I tried.

Then I did a detox, no I didn’t drink lemon water for 30 days, what I did do was an elimination diet. I helped my gut to clear out anything that hadn’t been digested and was causing problems but I also killed off a lot of the bad bacteria, that was causing an imbalance.

Detox can be done in a number ways. The first thing you need to do is support your liver and then your gut. Detox can be done quickly or more slowly depending on what you choose. You can detox with
>>elimination diet
>>juice diet
>>water fast
>>adding more wholefoods like vegetables and fruits, fats, oils, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices and reducing the processed foods, dairy, gluten and sugar.

These days I will do a juice day or a water fast day about once a week. Every now and then I will do a 3 or 7 day detox or cleanse.

After a detox or cleanse I feel more energetic, I have a clearer mind, my skin is great, my eyes are bright and my stomach is flat. But you wouldn’t want any of that would you? 🙂
